The Astor Theatre is located at 659 Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley, Western Australia 6050 (Corner Beaufort & Walcott Streets).

If you hold a VIP Package, you'll have access to the venue from 5pm to check-in, collect your lanyard and access merchandise.

VIP On-Set Photo & Backstage Tour
The tour begins promptly at 5.30pm. Upon arrival, an ITD Touring Team member will greet you in the lobby and escort you on a theatre tour, which includes a photo. Your photo will be taken with an instant film camera (Polaroid-style), so you can take home a special keepsake. We’re also happy to snap a few extras on your phone if you’d like!

VIP Meet & Greet
The Meet & Greet begins promptly at 6pm and lasts for a maximum of 60 minutes. Meet & Greet ticket holders will receive a lanyard upon entry. Artists will be grouped, and attendees can have their photos taken with them by an ITD team member. Tour posters will be distributed upon exiting the Meet & Greet area.

Important Conditions:

  • One photo will be permitted per Meet & Greet Ticket with each group. Please think about whether you'd like a solo or group photo before your arrival.
  • If you are not at the venue and checked in before the start time of your VIP Package, you may risk missing your opportunity to participate. No refunds will be given in this instance.
  • The artists will only be signing merch items purchased on the night and not any lanyards, tickets, or other items.

Bus:
#950 and #67. Nearby stops: 57m – Beaufort St Before Walcott St (Stop No: 12169); 114m – Beaufort St Before Grosvenor Rd (Stop No: 12139)
Train:
Mount Lawley Station (on the Midland line) is approximately a 15 minute walk up
Taxi:
The nearest Taxi Rank is on the corner of Beaufort Street and Grosvenor Road (outside the Flying Scotsman) – one minute walk from The Astor.
Car:
Mount Lawley is a popular bustling entertainment district, which makes parking a premium on popular nights for diners, bar lovers and Astor Theatre event goers. There is parking available in and around Mount Lawley, both in designated car parks and on the street. Some parking is timed paid parking, so it is advisable to check signage to be aware of any fees and time limits.

The venue is conveniently located on major bus routes, the Outer Harbour Greenway for cycling, and 150m from the Woodville Railway Station, utilised by both the Grange and Outer Harbour trains. Parking
The car park behind the venue and civic centre is free but restricted during weekdays. It is available for venue parking during weeknights and weekends. The car park across Woodville Road from the venue is free and a mixture of restricted and non-restricted parking. There is also ample free street parking surrounding the venue.

Llewellyn Hall is located in the ANU School of Music building which is situated at William Herbert Place Acton (City West). Llewellyn Hall is a close walk to Canberra City restaurants and a supermarket. For more detailed information, please visit llewellynhall.com.au/visitor-information.

The Ticketek mobile box office in the Athenaeum at Llewellyn Hall will be open from 5pm. Finding Your Seat

  • Doors 1 and 2 are on level 4. These doors give access to Stalls seating in rows M to X. Climb one flight of stairs from the entrance foyer or use the lift.
  • Door 6 is on the ground floor (level 2). This door gives access to Stalls seating in rows A to L. After you enter the ground level glass sliding doors, turn left at the entrance foyer and go up the corridor. Door 6 is half-way up on your right.
  • Doors 3, 4 and 5 are on level 5. These doors give access to Gallery seating only. Climb two flights of stairs from the entrance foyer or use the lift.
  • For the comfort and convenience of all patrons, latecomers will not be admitted until there is a suitable break in the performance.

Bathrooms are situated on the ground floor (level 2) outside Door 6, on level 4 near Door 1 and on level 5 near Door 3. There is a disabled toilet on level 4, which can be accessed from the lift. In the Peter Karmel building, toilet facilities can be found on the ground level near the entrance facing Childers Street.

Cloak Room
Cloaking is unavailable, take your coat with you to your seat.

Smoking, including “E” cigarettes, is not permitted on the ANU Campus.

Accessibility
Llewellyn Hall accommodates wheelchair access on both the ground level and level 4. If you have parked out the front of the School or in the car parks opposite and adjacent, enter through the automatic glass doors. If you have parked behind the Art School please use the foot bridge and enter through the glass doors that lead in to the foyer outside Door 1 and Door 2 of Llewellyn Hall. The lift can be found next to the stairs on each level. Llewellyn Hall has eight wheelchair spaces; two at the front, either side of row B and two at the rear, either side of row W. For Wheelchair bookings please phone the Ticketek Special Needs on 1300 665 915 during office hours. The disabled toilet is located on level 4 which can be accessed via the lift.
Disabled Parking:
There are a total of 12 disabled parking spaces in the areas mentioned above; two in the car park opposite, five in the car park adjacent, three in front of the School and two in the car park behind the School of Art.

Parking:
There are four carparks off Childers Street, each of which has disabled parking and are within one minute’s walk of the venue; these are all free access after 5pm. There is also the multi-story Baldessin Parking Station which can be approached from Childers Street and has free access after 5:30pm. Limited street parking is also available. There are 'pay and display' car parks opposite and adjacent (next to Peter Karmel Building) to the School of Music. The City-West multiplex car park off Marcus Clarke Street and cark park off Childers Street next to The Street Theatre are alternate paid parking areas.

Trains:
If arriving by train alight at Newtown Train Station. From here it is a 6 minute walk to Enmore Theatre.
Buses:
If arriving by bus the 355, 423, 426, 428, M30 services all stop out front of Enmore Theatre. If you are coming from the Eastern Suburbs the 352 and 355 services depart from Bondi Junction, and the 370 service departs from Coogee and travels through Randwick. Alight at Newtown Train Station and from here it is a 6 minute walk to Enmore Theatre.

The tour begins promptly at 5.30pm. Upon arrival, an ITD Touring Team member will greet you in the lobby and escort you on a theatre tour, which includes a photo. Your photo will be taken with an instant film camera (Polaroid-style), so you can take home a special keepsake. We’re also happy to snap a few extras on your phone if you’d like!

The Meet & Greet begins promptly at 6pm and lasts for a maximum of 60 minutes. Meet & Greet ticket holders will receive a lanyard upon entry. Artists will be grouped, and attendees can have their photos taken with them by an ITD team member. Tour posters will be distributed upon exiting the Meet & Greet area.

Important Conditions:

  • One photo will be permitted per Meet & Greet Ticket with each group. Please think about whether you'd like a solo or group photo before your arrival.
  • If you are not at the venue and checked in before the start time of your VIP Package, you may risk missing your opportunity to participate. No refunds will be given in this instance.

Ticket holders with printed tickets or E-Tickets (presented on a mobile device) can proceed directly to the allocated theatre doors for scanning, before being seated. E-Tickets are dispatched by Civic Theatre Ticket Office, attached to a booking confirmation email sent from ticketoffice@civictheatrenewcastle.com.au.

Tickets marked for collection can be picked up from the Ticket Counter, located in the venue foyer which is open 1-hour before the show.
